Tamarina Hotel

Tamarina Hotel will open in December 2010 and will compise of 50 deluxe rooms with twin or king size beds. The hotel is set in the golden savannah land of Tamarin, dominated by the soaring rocky peak of Rempart Mountain.

An old fishermen’s village, Tamarin has developed into a lively picturesque coastal village with many facilities and shops. It is also the main salt pan area of Mauritius where you can see the traditional production of salt.

The hotel is situated at Tamarin Bay and boasts spectacular views of the beach and sea. “La Madrague” restaurant overlooks the bay and is set around an infinity pool. International cuisine is served with a “creole accent”. “La Plage” restaurant is open for light breakfasts and lunches and is situated around the beach pool.

Located next to the reception, the spa has a dedicated area with 4 massage rooms each with its own patio and 2 double rooms. On one of the double room patios there is a Japanese bath. Designed by Rodney Wright, Tamarina 18-hole Championship Golf Course is a Par 72 challenging course over 43 hectares of rugged savannah land framed with mature trees, crossed by the Rempart river.

Included free of charge in your stay at the hotel is unlimited green fees and 1 massage if you are a golfer. For the non golfer 5 massages or treatments at the spa and a 1 hour golf lesson.
